60K’s. Ok. What does that say about the company and what it does. not a lot. Eyecatching, but confusing.

Well, I disagree with Candice, there’s no need for repeting what’s already in the logo : creative industry jobs, portolios & freelancers.
How is that confusing??

I see someone says it is 60 K’s to mean 60,000. Well, I didn’t get it and I really don’t go around counting letters! Most of all, where is the message about what this site is?
hope next time you wont let me count k’s, its good but when your not counting youll get confused.. the question is what if others dont want to count?but sometimes this will create an awareness because the people who will see this they will ask what’s k represents?
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I take it all on board and, given the consensus of opinion, perhaps it would be better to add more text about the site etc. Personally I think that the subheading on the logo says what is necessary about what CP is and does – any extra copy would be, in my opinion, moot and distracting.
As for the design; well my intention was to create an eye-catching graphic that reflected the ’60,000 members’ theme in a way that wasn’t too glaringly obvious – so I went for the visual pun of 60 ks. I did worry that the meaning might get lost so added the ‘count them’ bit as a hint…but I didn’t expect people to actually count them! Certainly no more than 25% of them anyway

I look at this IDEA, and it looks to me dry, together It doesn’t catch my eye. I anderstand that every single creative person interpretate individualy the graphic style and the meaning point, but personaly myself, it doesn’t lift me up, the colour tones isn’t wery enrgizeing, the graphic is close to camoflage – hidden one.
